I <3 Kanye’s Outbursts @ Award Shows (no hate on Taylor Swift)

Ok, I didn’t watch the VMA’s last night but thanks to Twitter and Youtube I was able to catch this years Kanye/Taylor Swift stunt (as well as the other weirdness @ the show). If yall don’t know by now, Taylor Swift won some award for Best Female Video or something but while giving her acceptance speech was rudely interrupted by Kanye West who came up out the audience to steal her mic and announce that Beyonce should have won and saying “Yo, Taylor. I’m really happy for you. I’m gonna let you finish, but Beyonce had the best video of all times.(crowd boos)..I’m just sayinn” (I honestly thought he was going to say that HE had one of the best Female Videos of all time lol). Anyways, Kanye was rumored to be drunk on Hennesey that night and was escorted out the award show shortly after the incident. He went home to post an apology on his blog shortly after..

Real talk, that was pretty dumb, but I’m glad he’s taking responsibility and I have respect for that. I honestly know nothing about Taylor Swift… I think she sings country? I dunno but she def gained some street cred from that night. Look at what happened to Justice Vs. Simian after he crashed their award speech @ the MTV EMA Awards. “We Are Your Friends” gained all sorts of American love and became one of the hottest club tracks that year. For all we know, Taylor Swift will be getting massive club play for the next year and a half.. U heard it here first!
