Chromeo - DJ Kicks (w/ exclusive new track 4 download!)

Later this month, Chromeo will be releasing a new mix cd entitled Chromeo - DJ Kicks. The full writeup is pretty lengthy and can be found on Chromeo’s Myspace blog, or on the official site.. but what it is really a mix of old school 80’s funk synthy jams that they’ve collected over the years. The website features a 15min demo of the mix and also an exclusive track that they recorded for the CD. A cover song really of the ‘Ealges - I Can’t Tell You Why’ free for download. Its smooth synths and talkbox hook make it an instant jam to groove to.

Did I mention there was a tour involved? The dates are on their myspace but they will be dropping a DJ set @ Mezzanine in SF on October 10. Anyone want to peep?
